Laser Hair Removal
How does it work?

Are there any side effects?
Immediately after treatment there may be some mild redness and swelling around the hair follicles, this will generally last less than a few hours. For 24 hours post-treatment you should avoid heat treatments, saunas and direct sun exposure. We will give you a post treatment advice leaftlet when you attend initial consultaion which explains post care advice for all of our treatments.
How many treatments will I need?
The number of treatments required will vary depending on various factors, such as: the thickness of the hair, the area being treated, the individual, and your hair growth cycle. Most clients usually require a minimum course of 6-8 treatments. To ensure that as many hairs as possible are treated in the growth phase, there tends to be a 4-6-week interval between each treatment. Top-up sessions are often required periodically.
What results can I expect to see?
Many clients see a slight ‘shedding’ of hair after their first session but we advise that you will start to see a real, noticeable reduction after your third treatment. Some hairs are naturally thicker and have deeper roots which meaning they can be a little more stubborn to treat, meaning that they may take a little longer to get noticeable results.
Laser Skin Rejuvenation
How does it work?
Laser collagen rejuvenation works by using a wavelength that will stimulate collagen in the deeper layers of the skin leaving the skin supported and reducing the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles. Using a specific wavelength which is the ND YAG 1064nm the laser targets the dermal layer of the skin to induce the collagen production by heating up the cells that create the scaffolding in the deep layers.
What can I expect when I attend my appointment?
You will be provided with eye protection to wear during your laser treatment. The treatment itself is quite relaxing with a warming sensation on the skin suface. Your therapist will treat the area of concern. Once the treatment iscomplete post treatment products will be applied to soothe and protect your skin.
Are there any side effects?
You skin may be a little pink post treatment and will feel warm. We will give you a post treatment advice form when you attend your inital cosultaion which explains post care advice for all of our treatments.
How many treatments will I need?
A course of 3-6 treatments are usually recommended to achieve the best results which will be completed every 2-4 weeks apart.
What results can I expect to see?
After one session your skin will feel plumper and the skin will feel more supported as well as a reduction in the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles. As the collagen production is always breaking down more than one treatment will be needed to achieve desired results.
Skin Peels
How does it work?
Skin peels work by exfoliating the outer layers of skin, removing dead cells and revealing fresh new cells underneath. It is a much deeper exfoliation than that of typical exfoliating creams and lotions used at home. Peels also help to stimulate the body’s own natural collagen production and can improve elasticity.

How many treatments will I need?
We recommend a course of six peels with a treatment every 2-4 weeks. Maintenance treatments every 4-6 weeks will ensure results last and skin remains bright and clear.
What results can I expect to see?
Improvements can be noticed after just one treatment and after a course of treatment skin will be smoother, brighter and more refined.
Dermaroller
How does it work?
What can I expect when I attend my appointment?
Prior to your treatment your therapist will apply a topical anaesthetic cream to make the treatment comfortable. A sterile roller which has many microneedles and a needle legth of 1.5mm is used for the face and neck areas will be used. The Dermaroller is gently glided across the skin in one direction then another until the entire treatment area has been covered. Once the whole area has been treated you skin will feel tight and warm, your therapist will apply post treatment products to soothe and protect your skin.
Are there any side effects?
Skin will look slightly pink to moderately red after treatment but this should settle within a few hours. Fibroblasts – the cells that synthesize new collagen – are active for up to as much as one year after just one treatment. New collagen and stimulated elastin produce younger, healthier, plumper, and firmer skin, effectively reducing the appearance of wrinkles, fine lines, acne scars for an overall better tone and texture.We will give you a post treatment advice form when you attend your inital cosultaion which explains post care advice for all of our treatments.
How many treatments will I need?
Typically a series of 3-6 treatments is recommended, depending upon your area of correction or concern. Treatments are usually spaced at 4-week intervals. Deep wrinkles, advanced sun damage, stretch marks, or any type of scars, usually require 6 or more treatments to achieve the desired results.

Microdermabrasion
How does it work?
What can I expect when I attend my appointment?
You will be provided with eye protection to wear during your Microdermabrasion treatment. The treatment is pain free, patiens decribe the sensation as an intense exfolitation with a vacuum. following your treatment your skin will feel smoother, and feel warm post treatment.
Are there any side effects?

How many treatments will I need?
We would advise a course of between 6-9, however your therapist will talk this through with you following your initial consultation. People with acne or acne scarring might need more treatments and we recommend a monthly maintenance treatment after each course has finished to help maintain the results achieved. Although Microdermabrasion is also a brilliant one of treatment to rejuvenate your skin.

Laser Pigment Removal
How does it work?
What can I expect when I attend my appointment?
You will be provided with eye protection to wear during your laser treatment. As with most laser therapies there may be some slight discomfort during the treatment. The spot-size of the laser beam is small and direct meaning it can rtarget specific areas of consern quickly. The sensation can vary but most people describe it asa very quick "zap".
Are there any side effects?
The area may swell slightly and feel hot (like a sunburn) for a while after laser treatment, and it might be red and swollen for the rest of the day. Scabs may form on the treated area, which will fall off in time. Brown spots can become darker within a day, they will fade over about 12 to 18 days. How many treatments will I need?
Most pigmented lesions will sometime only require 1-2 treatments to be completely removed. Darker, deeper and larger pigmented lesions may require aditional treatments. This will be explained during your intial consultation.
What results can I expect to see?
Everyone heals at various rates depending on the depth of treatment, the particular areas treated and your own health and condition. Noticeable results are typically seen in a few weeks and darker or pigmented patches will be noticeably lighter or completely removed.
Laser Thread Vein Removal
How does it work?
The procedure uses an Nd:YAG Laser system that focuses a beam of laser light energy toward the vein. When the laser passes through the skin it heats the vein, coagulates the blood inside the vessel and causes it to collapse. The body’s natural waste process then carries away all the broken down blood vessels. Advancements in Laser technologies allow delivery of a precise dosage of energy to each blood vessel without injuring to the skin.

You will be provided with eye protection to wear during your laser treatment. As with most Laser therapies there may be some slight discomfort during the treatment. The spot-size of the beam is small and direct meaning it can target specific areas of concern quickly. The sensation can vary but most people describe it as a very quick pin prick.
Are there any side effects?
You may experience some bruising or swelling after treatment, Some thread veins can also appear darker post treatment, this is a good reaction as shows the treatment has worked effectively. How many treatments will I need?
Some veins will be removed immediately but results depend upon the condition of the veins and may require multiple sessions. It’s worth noting that new veins may appear at some point in the future. If this is the case further treatment may be required.
